About Me

My name is Ryan Underdown, I’m a web developer, SEO and Internet marketer based in Phoenix, AZ. I am the Director of Search Engine Marketing for Web-Op where I get to work on lots of interesting projects.

I’ve been spending most of my time lately working on selling more windshields and l-arginine. I also specialize in optimizing for Baidu as Web-Op has offices in Nanjing.

I got my start in SEO via social media. I was a fairly effective submitter @ digg.com – where I enjoyed a 35% front page promotion ratio on stories I submitted. I started blogging around the same time and starting promoting some of my own work to the front page. From there I learned all about the link economy.

Shortly thereafter I went to work for Text Link Brokers, managing aspects of their link building program. I learned a lot at TLB – but mostly I learned the importance of links.
